Composting is one of the most powerful tools in regenerative farming. Instead of sending nutrients to the landfill, we cycle them back into the soil where they belong.

The secret to great compost is balance. You need:

Greens (nitrogen): kitchen scraps, fresh grass clippings
Browns (carbon): dry leaves, straw, cardboard
Air and moisture: like a wrung-out sponge

A good rule of thumb is 2–3 parts brown to 1 part green.

Turn your pile every 1–2 weeks to introduce oxygen. If done right, you’ll notice heat in the center — that means microbial life is working hard.

After 6–12 weeks, the pile should smell earthy, not rotten. That’s when you know you’ve created black gold.

Healthy compost = healthier soil = stronger crops.
